This is a good question. Three songs that come to mind are "Have a Cigar" and "Money" by Pink Floyd, and "Sunrise" by Norah Jones. I listen to Norah Jones the most, and "Sunrise" is definitely my favorite song of hers, but my favorite album has got to be "Dark Side of the Moon" (one of my best friends and I used to sit and play 5-card draw, drinking Kahlua with milk over ice, while listening to this album over and over). Actually Come to think of it, this is absolutely an impossible question. It would require me to: A) Remember every song I've ever liked so I can rate them B) FIgure out a single "best" one which is also impossible. This is impossible, but I have to agree that "Child In Time" is an awsome song. Gillan's screaming just gives me such a odd, nice feeling. Of course there are some really great song by Sabbath too, that I have to mention, especially "War Pig" from a live show I've heard, dont know which one, but it totally rocks. The thing that makes it so speciall is when Ozzy sings "Ooohh-oh-oh-oh-oohhh", at the second half of the song were it's not supposed to be any vocals. Other great songs are, "Little by Little" with Alice Cooper, "Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan, "Dreamer" and "Mr Crowley" by Ozzy... It's different from day to day, for example: Yestarday it was "Sad But True" with Metallica, today it's "Holy Diver" with Dio, tomorrow maby "Don't Cry" with Guns n Roses ore "Youth Gone wild" with Skid Row, it's just to hard to pick one ore two (or maybe even five)... I could rate "Child In Time" by Deep Purple as one of my best ranked songs ever. That song is perfect in every way. 10 minutes of pure ecstasy! Blackmore's soloing, Ian Gillan's screams, Jon Lord's spooky organ playing, and Ian Paice's frantic drumming add up to a masterpiece! The song was made for me. Also... Black Sabbath - War Pigs Rainbow - Catch the Rainbow Metallica - Orion Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven Oh, special mention. The Greatest rock/metal song ever has to be Led Zeppelin, Dazed and Confused. Zeppelin Forever! [leon1987]
