Do U Like To Travel By Train Or Bus

hi friends my latest travel was to Madurai to attend my friend's sister's marriage. i went to Madurai by train i really enjoyed my travel by train along with my friends. according to me travel by train is far more better than the travel by bus. in train you need not to sit at single place. you can relax your self by walking in the train. by traveling in a train you can have nice sleep which is not possible in buses and you have will a toilet in trains which is not possible in buses. so which kind of travel u like?

I would say neither. I hate traveling in bus, train, plane or any other vehicle, maybe bicycle is acceptable. I'm too sensitive to the smell of petrol and shaking. If I have to choose one between bus and train, well, the latter. Yes, it is more comfortable and convenient for travellers. And the most important thing for me is that they sell food on train~~~lol [sujisubfans1019]

I like to travel in train rather traveling in bus. In train i feel comfortable . Have toilets... So train is best... [mkrneobux]

Yes you right we can enjoy more in train.. Its like our family.. But in bus you can be confortable sitting and for anything.. So for long distance.. or you can say.. for one night trip.. i always prefer the train only, so that i can confrtably sit on the seat and w can also lie down.. but in the bus you have to sit in only one position.. which i never like.. you got tired soon.. So i prefer obly railways.. for trvaeling.. [njc2009]

It is better to travel in train than rather than bus . In train we can sleep freely and we cant sleep nicely in bushappyhappy [manoj1502]

I've experienced traveling by plane non stop for 12 to 15 hours when I went to Canada and its so boring coz all I can see are clouds when the plane is already up, and also tiring coz I can't lie down to sleep. I also experienced traveling by bus for 8 to 12 hours in going to province, but there are bus stop were we can take our meals and relax after sitting for long hours, also we can see different view or scenery. Traveling by train is very nice coz there are train stations or stop over; we can see different scenery too and also we can lie down to sleep, so its not so tiring sitting for long hours unlike in the bus or plane. Traveling for long hours and long distance is so tiring especially if you are sitting for long hours, so train is preferable. [joyce959]

I prefer to travel by plane, it is easy, and i don't have to wait for long just to reach the destination. But since you have two options here, bus or train, i would prefer train since they have toilet where i can pee. Unlike in bus, you have to wait for a bus stop to rest and to pee. I have this dilemma of holding my pee, i really don't like it and i don't want to have UTI or Urinary tract infection. About bus, well you can sleep on a sleeper class but the problem is you get nausea and dizzy and later vomit. I tried to pee inside a sleeper class, besides nobody can see you inside, they have curtains. All you have to do is have a plastic bag to pee into it lol, gosh, it was really an experience, what to do, i can't hold it! [strawberrychocodahi]

I enjoy traveling by train. I find it very relaxing and I have no problem sleeping on the train. On the train you have more personal space than on t bus or plane. [bobmnu]

TRAIN ALL THE WAY~~~~ the bus is too jerky and i tend to get motion sickness if the bus jerks too much. moreover, the train has aircon and more space. [regal_aeros]

i havent really try travelling by train but im pretty sure its more convenient than traveling by bus......hopefully soon i can experience it soo soon....have a nice day!!! happy mylotting..... [lalola24]

i like bus, don know why, but i don feel that much happy when i go in train as much as i am happy when i travel in the bus. [missjasmine]

I always prefer train only for the traveling.. The main reason is that i can not sit in the bus.. if i sit the though the vibratio of the bus.. I will vomit in the bus.. So i can eat in the bus , Ans you will always feel confortable in the train , you can sleep in the nights and you have Tioket in the train , you that you can go when ever you want.. while in the bus yu have to hold.. I can not so this.. So always prefer to travel in the train. [Jinu3132]

I have never traveled in a train before, but it seems like it would be a very interesting thing to do. I have traveled on the bus and it is not at all. I did not have any room to move much and when I wanted to sleep, I had to be careful to not bother the people next to me that I did not know. But I guess if you take the Coach bus or whatever you call it, it is more comfortable. You get to watch movies sometimes and you don't have to wait til the next rest stop to go to the bathroom. But I would like to try the train someday. [Cillysophie]

neither. because those two transpo is too crowded for me. i don't like being surrounded by unknown people especially with a big number. i would prefer getting a cab or having my own car. but i still don't have that money to buy one. so i have no choice but to use bus or train or maybe cab. [knyn23]

hello...i prefer to travel by train more than by bus, for the safty. but the trains are always crowded and not so clean here, anyway, there is no more choice . i think i'd like to travel by self driving later as i have earn much money to afford to...good luck and enjoy every travel ... [celebratelifeh]

I prefer to travel by train, the most important reason is that i'm car sickness seriously, the second reason is the washing room, yes, you are right, people can go to the toilet,or wash hands and face in a train, but it's not available in a bus.Other reasons are just like what you said, friends can sit together in the train, chat, play cards, eat or drink something, etc.i think that's very interesting, and people will not be boring during the journey [Nancy312]

Hi, if I have to choose between a train and a bus, I'd take the train. The ride at least would be less bumpy; and moreover not hampered by traffic jams. And like you said, walk around and stretch your legs. [lazeebee]

grate! i also love traveling by train rather than by bus. we can have a good view during the train travel , for instance, some pastoral scenes , ramarkable mountains, the peaceful country lives and so on. They are not can be seen in the developing cities frequently. So it is good , occasionally, to us to traveling by train and relax ourselves. Thus the content above is my point of view . [ricky1023]

i love to travel by train... its really a fun journey... especially in rainy season... [hemantpatil]

I prefer to travel by train as it tends to be quicker than buses, with buses you can get caught up in road traffick. [Musicial]

By train of course.I think travlling by train is more safe than by bus.And train is more comfortable than bus, just as you said. [candy811123]

Yes you are right i love to travel in train, because of realxation. Trains run smoothly and having lots of fascility. For me its easy to buy food in train , i dont have to go anywhere to buy.You can also refresh any time in train. Happy Train Travelling! [ranviruchauhan]

I would say train is a good option for going travel. It is safer than plane and quicker than bus.I visited my friend in another province by railway last year. There i met an American who speaks very good Chinese. We talked all the way until he got his destination.I share my foods with him and we all had good time in talking with each other. It really gives me a good impression on travelling by train not only because i can make friends but also the convenience it brings. [xiaozhao0723]

Yes,I prefer to travel in train although I haven't sit in train.I hate traveling by bus.I can't stand the smell of petrol yet.I think it will be better in train.. [tisty2008]

Of course by train,i go home by train every year, and i enjoy my happy time on the train, then i will feel free.it's important that i can watch out the train windows. that's a worthwhile trip! [gxyywhyzy]

Travel by bus or travel by train depends on the distance, journey, availability and routing. If the journey is short distanced and direct ,i prefer to go by bus but if the journey is long then i would say by train because it is always easy to sleep, relax and eat in the train. [bamrahkirti]

I like to travel by train, and I think not only you could relax yourself totally but also you could appreciate the beautiful landscape out the window.Usually countryside's clear scene would let you forget the pollution and noise, you wiil feel delight and relax which you cannot experience in bus. [diyphone]

If let me choose from the two way, i think the train is the better one. First it is faster than the bus, and second, it make me feel comfortable. But if possible, i think the plane is the best one. [tjsally]

Hi gangulydada7, I prefore train, because it is comfortable to travel,in train enjoyed very well, you can relax.so i like train journey. [madhu_yl]

I will survey for the time need to travel a place using train and bus, after that I will consider on the expenses. If worth I will choose the transport. Mainly will consider on expenses 1st :D. [meiyeec511]

Travelling by train is definitely more comfortable especially if it is a long journey. But both train travel and bus travel are an experience in themselves. I have travelled in India mostly by train. But byfar my most memorable journey was a bus ride in rajasthan. The experience of seeing my country up, close and personal. [malsun]
Well, either mode, it is not all that bad if you can get a seat. lol [lordwarwizard]

Given the choice, I too would like to travel by train. I agree with you that train gives us a kind of convenience, which is not possible in a bus. Moreover, condition of roads at least here India is pathetic, therefore, one dreads to travel by road. Bus route may be shorter than the train, however, travelling even in a luxury bus could not be as convenient and comfortable, as in train. [dpk262006]

I love to travel by train, much better than by bus, because it is so relaxing and runs a lot smoother. There is no sudden acceleration or braking, and you can get up and walk around without losing balance and as you point out, there are toilets.. happy. Derek [derek_a]

well . i prefer by train to travel . bus !? come on ```` what about the car . the little car just like the convertible sedan . oh coll ~ you can enjoy the scenery along the road by train . and you should care about the pickpocket coming o(n_n)o . so why not !? enjoy the car and the sea breeze . can you drive !? ahha ~ you must have a nice one `` so go go come on body ` [myskina]

Hi gangulydada7, Give a choice between these 2, I will choose the train. Over here, I find the train service more reliable than the bus. I know I can likely get to a place via train in x time. But if I rely on bus, well, it is not always reliable... [lordwarwizard]

I too like traveling by train. We can see good mountains and rivers while traveling by train. In the train we can eat what we like which is not available in the bus.I travel to my native place in chennai by train.Traveling in ac is very good because we won't have the food vendors and beggar nuisance in the train.happyhappy [vicky30]

if i have no choice i prefer travel by bus. it more easy and faster than train.. if we take train it will take a long time.. but if we want to get better sleep we can choose by train.. happy mylotting.. [aida0205]

if it was a short-way travel, i would like to travel by bus, because bus is cleaner than train. if it was a long-way travel, maybe train is better. every holiday,i would go home by train all night long, i hate the people who smoke in the train.so i donnot like travel by train if there were smoking guys. may be airplane is a good choice if there was a discount. [zhx629]

I would love to take a long train ride one day! I love taveling in car and plane although I am not a big bus fan just because there are no bathrooms haha. A train ride would be so much fun I wish I had money to put gas in my car to go visit my sister in college much less able travel to Madurai. [csrobins]

bus in a country like mine.. cause is cheap in others i better like trains where the price doesnt differ that much [zulito]

I am glad that you enjoyed your train trip to see your friend's sister's get married. My favorite form of transport is train because it is so relaxing and enjoyable. In the day time I like to look out of the window and see the scenery that I am passing. At night I like to sleep in a bunk in a compartment. I find the lovely noise of the train and the motion rocks me to sleep. In the morning I wake up feeling happy and refreshed. It is convenient that there is usually a toilet on a train. On a bus I find there is less generous legroom and the seat is not as comfortable. I like the scenery that I see from the window and going through towns can be interesting. A bus can get stuck in a traffic jam and it is often not as far as the train. On a journey along a mountain pass I got really travel sick. The view was amazing but the driver went along the road too quickly and scared me quite a lot. I don't enjoy sleeping sitting upright on a bus but have to do this sometimes if there isn't a train service. If the train fare was $50 and the bus fare was $30 I would choose the train for the comfort. [maximax8]

Hi, it's good that you enjoyed your train ride. I ride a bus whenever I go and visit my mom in the province because we don;t have any railway stations there. sometimes it feel comfortable but most of the time it doesn't cuz I came directly from work and take the last trip. The aches and pains of the whole at work is making itself felt when you take a 7 hour trip in a bus lol but in my granny's province, they have train trips but I rather take the bus too cuz it's hard to get to the railway station from the city bound for South lol... I haven't tried riding the train, too, so I don't know if the train bound for provinces are comfortable or not. So I still choose what's familiar and more convenient to me lol... BUS... ^_^ [kissieme]

Actually for long overland travel, I'd rather travel by car where I drive. I have been driving for more than 30 years, so you can appreciate why I chose car. But if I really have to choose between train or bus, I'd rather go by train and for long journeys, I would prefer the sleeper class where I can lie down. I don't mind a bus if it is in the form of a luxurious coach where the seats are plush, the vehicle is large and the ride is comfortable. [lexus54]

I've never traveled by train before, but I have read about the options available aboard Amtrak, like showers, bedrooms, and dining cars. That would be nice to have real food and accomodations during a trip instead of a bag of peanuts and a cramped seat. I usually travel by airplane, but with all the restrictions and luggage fees I might consider taking the train on my next trip. [jtr115]

Depends on the trip and especially how long. I'm not mad about these modes of travel but do take them from time to time. I prefer flying. [saffrondallas]

Hey there! I would prefer train too if I am to travel for a long time to a far place. Train is more comfortable than bus. You can walk around and have a nice view outside. No man, toilet is possible with buses. Some bus has toilet. Maybe in your country you don't have buses with toilets. Have a nice day. Happy posting!! [AltheGreat2430]

I prefer to travel by train.I just love the sound of engine.lol.A lot more stories happen on the trains.lol.For me,its exciting to travel by train. You never what the place where the train takes you like.lol [sweetyethot]

it deepnds the distance but i prefer trainhappy [bombshell]

Hi, I like to travel by bus. I like watching video shows at night in the bus. Secondly, I like to eat in hotels at halts. [prasanta]

Hello friend. I have traveled by train, bus and plane. Of course, it is the most comfortable to travel by plane for its fast speed. But compared with bus, I prefer to travel by train. If I am lucky enough, I can get a berth ticket and can sleep all the way to my destination, which is so enjoyable. Bus is good for a short journey, not a long one, which is very tiring to me. Take care, friend. [williamjisir]
