Hey dawn! I have no idea what I would do! I guess it would definitely depend on which mylot friend and what they wanted to do or see! My city isn't famous for anything or has any great sites so I guess we'd probably head downtown to the "Big Apple"! And for sure we would need a guide because I haven't been downtown in quite a few years and everytime I do go I get totally confused and lost! It would depend on wo I was meeting and how much time we would be spending together. I would be more interested in meeting them rather than the location but hopefully we would have enough time together to be able to do both. If we were meeting midway then possibly neither of us would have seen the place where we meet up so hopefully it would be a long meet-up and we could get to know each other better and visit the area too. I can't swim so if you and me meet up it will either be on a cruise or one of us will have to travel further than the other one - but I will be over on your side of the map sooner or later wink [mysdianait]

Hi dawn, When I first met our mylot friend Mr, Fishy, we met him in our local pub, I didn't go alone so I took another mylot friend whom I know from childhood, well when we met him it felt as thoug we've known him for a long time, so it is good idea to meet in a public place. Let's see . . . there are tons of skating rinks between your location and mine . . . but I promise you if came out closer this way you'd be able to see some of the biggies in practice . . . like Evan or Mirai and some others. We could watch them, and skate ourselves before and after (and have your brownies before and after)! Depending on what part of the year, we can catch Stars on Ice (or maybe some cornball Disney on Ice show)!!!! But this is because I know you have an interest in skating . . . I know a lot of other folk could care less about it!! If we were really adventurous, maybe we can fly over to some place like Lake Placid!! [much2say]

Some of the myLot friends I would like to meet here are hockey buds. So, if we did ever meet is when our teams meet in the playoffs. hi dawnald I would take her to Newport Beach ca as she is already in Ca but this is half way and get her to eat frozen chocolate covered bananas then we would walk out on the pier and watch the container ships steaming off for ports unknown, and we would walk along the beach ,gather sea shells and when we got hungry I would have to put my heavy orthopedic shoes on with the lousy brace then we would walk overto the the world known charlies chili and have whatever she wanted plus his famous chili for me we might end up having to take some of it home, as the portions are huge.I would point out the seals and the pelicans out on the jetty. we might get some marshmallows and weiners and some sticks then we would use a fire ring and have a campfire for our supper then it would be time to head back to Gold Crest. I am partly handicapped so cannot do tons of walking but I could show her all the things I fell in love with when I first came here before all hell broke loose and prices went out of this world. and then we could sit in the visitors lounge a nd just talk as we would have a zillion things to talk about. not too creative but I am physically limited.cheeringniceday [Hatley]

I have a friend on both MyLot and Gather, more on Gather, that I hope to meet tomorrow, as she is only about a half hour from where I live.
